Are you familiar with atherosclerosis? It is caused by plaque building up over time in your arteries and puts you at a higher risk for a variety of serious heart diseases. Medical experts tell us it is both preventable and treatable.
God has given us abundant provision to keep the spiritual plaque from building up in our lives. The LORD warns of “hardness of heart”. In recovery, the term used is “self will run riot”. The 10th step of AA: Continued to take moral inventory of ourselves and when we were wrong PROMTLY admitted it.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Prayer: “Who can discern his errors? Clear thou me from hidden faults?” –Psalm 19:12
Action: Examination of conscience; reconciliation
